Town council unveils new-look Frampton Road play area
New play equipment and an adult gym has been officially launched at the Frampton Road recreation ground by Epping Town Council.

Mayor Les Burrows cut the ribbon to mark the opening of the new £38,700 facilities on Thursday afternoon.

The new play area and two pieces of adult gym equipment have been provided thanks to funding from the town council as well as £15,000 in grant funding from Essex County Council's Community Initiatives Fund.

The Probus Club of Epping have provided a bench for the play area.

Mayor Les Burrows said: "We are delighted to be able to provide a new playground at Frampton Road with a wider variety of equipment for a range of ages.

"Thank you to Essex County Council’s Community Initiatives Fund which provided £15,000 towards the project.

"We are also very excited to bring the first adult exercise equipment to Epping. I do hope it will all be well used now that Spring is here."
