Parish council set to budget for Local Plan legal advice
A £15,000 earmarked reserve is being proposed by North Weald Bassett Parish Council to be available should there be a need for legal advice to be sought regarding the district council's Local Plan.

Councillor Dave Stallan told Monday's finance and general purposes committee: "We are supposed to be precepting for possible things next year.

"If members feel that we do need that (a budget item for the Local Plan) then we need to find the money from some of the additional things that have been proposed.

"This is the one we need to frontload this year."

Councillor Andy Tyler said: "If we need specialist advice we do need a pot of money to do that."
