Town council reviewing Draft Local Plan
Ongar Town Council has commenced a review of Epping Forest District Council’s Draft Local Plan.
The draft document shows that the Parish has been allocated approximately 600 new homes if all sites are considered suitable for development and remain in the final document.
The council is encouraging members of the public to register on the district council’s website to receive regular updates and to attend the staffed exhibition being hosted by Epping Forest District Council at the Budworth Hall, Ongar, on Wednesday, November 9.
Town council chairman councillor James Browning said: “This is your Local Plan and therefore I would implore all parishioners to make comment to the district council.
“The town council will be reviewing the Plan in detail and considering the impact and infrastructure that will be required before making a full response.”
The council will consider comments from members of the public via email@example.com or in writing via the office.
