After so much anticipation, Solar Impulse 2 arrived in Nanjing and we had the pleasure to collaborate with the team for events that gathered thousands of people! With the Embassy of Switzerland in Beijing and the Consulate General of Switzerland in Shanghai, swissnex China organized two Swiss Days in Nanjing, one in Southeast University and another one right under the wings of Solar Impulse 2, giving a chance to attendees to discover more about the "secrets" behind the aircraft. Studying Design and Innovation at Tongji University with a major in Visual Communication, Jason DAI has been working with the team since March. He is in charge of creating and refining the design of graphic documents produced by swissnex China.
Now studying Translation and Interpreting at Fudan University, Katie DONG joined us as Junior Project Leader of Academic Relations in April 2015. She supports the team in planning various academic and cultural events, research projects, and also in translating documents and panels.
For the last semester of her master program in Entrepreneurship at the School of Management of Fribourg, Laurence Niquille will be with the team for 6 months as a Junior Project Leader. In addition to supporting the team in various events, she is writing her master's thesis on the subject of young Swiss entrepreneurs who are launching their business in China and their success.
