Watch Our MOOC On Collaboration With Chinese Universities

It is exciting to release the online course "Opportunities for Swiss Universities and Institutes in China" for our Swiss academic stakeholders. We are sure this is THE guide for anyone who is interested to know the opportunities, challenges and approaches when collaborating with Chinese universities and institutes. In October, we will receive the first health care delegation from various Swiss universities of applied sciences. Their tour in China will be focused on “healthy aging” (in Beijing) and "new technology in elderly healthcare" (in Shanghai). Then they will continue their learning expedition to Seoul and Tokyo with our colleagues in the science & technology offices from the Swiss embassies. We are also looking forward to welcoming the dynamic venture leaders China 2016 by the end of next month.

Lift China 2016 | Urban Entrepreneurs:
Smarten Your City Workshop @Shanghai Nov.19

Call for sponsorship
Initiated by Lift, Urban Entrepreneurs is designed to create an urban transversal vision through a series of events to explore new solutions to address urban challenges in food, mobility, energy & environment. swissnex China is glad to be the project's partner in Shanghai to organize an ideation workshop on Nov. 19. We have received over dozen of high quality submissions to the workshop during one month, with proposals from NGO professionals, entrepreneurs, researchers, professors as well as data experts.

Now we are calling for sponsorships to help the team with the best proposal to go to Geneva in early 2017 for prototyping. As a sponsor, you could scout new ideas, products and services that can be implemented into your business, send an expert from your company to the ideation workshop and be part of our jury for the final selection. More details could be found here.
