BC Law 45th Reunion

November 1—2, 2019

In our last email to you, we asked you to tell us one thing that changed in your life since our last reunion in 2014 (other than your age!).

Here's what you told us:

"On May 19, 2018, we celebrated our daughter Alyssa's marriage to Mr. Dan Matthew's, Jr. in Skaneateles, New York, and then the next morning we celebrated her receipt of an M.D. degree from the State University of New York Upstate Medical University in Syracuse. "

Gregory T. Cortese
Business consultant, retired CEO, and proud father
San Diego, Calif. and New Hartford, N.Y.
Since Greg was not in our 2014 40th Reunion Book, we asked him for an update of his life after BC Law. Read about what Greg's been up to, including his successful involvement with a small tech start-up in 1979 that eventually went public, and what he is doing now to help other technology start-ups.
"Since our 40th reunion, I am now mostly retired. In 2016, I completed my sixth term (12th year) as Town Council president in East Greenwich, R.I. That was the maximum length of service under the town's term limits. Good timing; I am happy to be out of politics. The biggest change in my life since the last reunion was becoming a grandfather. I have been fortunate to have a very fulfilling professional, political, and family life. However, having a granddaughter adds a whole new dimension to life. There is a special attachment I could not imagine. It has also influenced my concerns for the kind of world she will live in."

Michael B. Isaacs
Retired attorney and public servant, and blessed grandfather
East Greenwich, R.I.
For a refresher on Michael's life after BC Law, here is his profile that appeared in our 2014 40th Reunion Book
"In 2017, I was elected first selectman [akin to mayor] of New Canaan, Conn. "

Kevin Moynihan
Public official and retired Wall Street lawyer
New Canaan, Conn.
Since Kevin was not in our 2014 40th Reunion book, we asked him for an update of his life after BC Law. Kevin had a successful 35-year career as a corporate attorney in Chicago and New York City. He worked for a succession of investment banks as general counsel or senior attorney from 1977 until retiring in 2009 from Merrill Lynch & Co., where he had worked since 1991. Read more about Kevin's life since BC Law and his  favorite law school memories.
It's not too late to share one thing that changed in your life since our last reunion. Send it to us by August 15!
