Finding love and the law

Remarkably, at least 14 classmates found more than a legal education at BC Law! While most couples connected with each other during law school, two classmates found each other years later—at no other place than our very own 20th Reunion! Enjoy their stories below.

Gail Glick and Guive Mirfendereski

"We successfully survived law school as a couple, largely by..."

Guive and Gail say they came to BC Law as two of the “older students.” (If they were older students back then, what does that make us now?!)

Read what brought Gail and Guive together and how their legal careers and handiwork have kept them nimble in mind and spirit all these years.

Jim and Mary Morris Hawkins

"You never know what kind of connection you are going to make when you go to your reunion.”

Jim and Mary vaguely knew each other at BC Law. After the tragic loss of Jim's wife years later, they made a connection at our 20th Reunion. Read Jim and Mary's story and how "marvelous and unexpected things can happen at any time."

Reunite with our favorite professors

Come to Reunion Weekend and reconnect with your favorite professors. Let us know which professors you want to catch up with at our reunion.

Professor Spotlight

Professor Bob Bloom

In the late 1960s, then student Bob Bloom entered BC Law on a mission to earn a law degree so that he could help the underrepresented. Bob was able to pursue his mission by participating in BC Law's then innovative clinical program, Legal Assistance Bureau.

A half-century later, it comes as no surprise to us that Bob has spent almost his entire career at BC Law promoting social justice by teaching courses and supervising students in BC Law's ever-expanding experiential learning programs. Read more about Bob.

Thank you!

This year our amazing law school community raised $1.73 million for the Law School Fund, exceeding the amount raised last fiscal year! Thanks to the generosity of alumni, faculty, staff, and friends, this money will provide much needed support for financial aid, public service stipends, faculty research grants, and more.

Let's make FY19 even more successful. You can make a Reunion Class Gift in honor of a classmate, professor, or special person who made a positive impact on you.

A Special Invitation...
All Dean's Council donors are invited to a private BC Law reception with Dean Vincent Rougeau immediately prior to our Reunion celebration at The Ritz-Carlton on November 3. Learn how you can become a Dean's Council member and join Dean Rougeau at this special event.

We look forward to celebrating with you at our milestone 30th Reunion!
