Ministry Opportunities in 2013

Hello Friends! The New Year is bringing many exciting changes and opportunities for the Iglesia Bautista Emanuel, in Elche, Spain. The church has just been able to call its own pastor, who is replacing the missionary pastors who founded the church. I am very thankful to be a part of this ministry as we seek to fulfill the great commission in this part of Spain.

This spring, in addition to continuing my online graduate studies, I will especially be focusing on the ministry with the youth group. I have been asked to teach the youth group's Sunday school class, and I am also involved in our weekly youth meetings.

I am beginning a series of studies on the life of David. We have so much to learn from this "man after God's own heart"!

Last Sunday, after the morning service, we had a church-wide food and fellowship time. Many of the church people joined to celebrate and continue to get to know our new pastor and his wife (on the right side of the center table).

Pastor Alberto and Laura Zermeño have recently arrived to begin pastoring Iglesia Bautista Emanuel. It will be exciting to see the Lord work through the lives of these servants.
