Thankful for Our Food
Join us Saturday from 10am-1pm to give thanks for the bounty of local food!

We all know who grows the best foods: it is our local farmers. This Saturday, Nov. 22,  we are having a market celebrating the chance to eat local...to eat healthy...to know how our food is grown...and to purchase it within a day of it being picked!    Commissioner Fred Hawkins will be speaking on how nutrition played into the healing from his recent illness.  There will be a discussion on the wonders of good food on our health and vitality led by Kim Kirschner, a certified health coach and practitioner.  9 C Brand BBQ  will be back with chicken wings, pulled pork, collards and black eyed peas.  We'll have  sweet, roasted corn on the cob to munch on as you shop our market, Artisans demonstrating their trades, games for kids, and of course our very friendly and knowledgeable O-C Grown vendors with a wide assortment of produce, products and baked goods!  Come and spend the morning with us under the oak trees.  A more complete list of produce available is posted on our FB page weekly.

We are located at 5700 E Irlo Bronson Memorial Hwy, St Cloud, FL 34771 (across from the Serpentarium). We are open each Saturday from 10am-1pm.

Meet the Farmers

Its November and the citrus is ripening!  Ken and Alise Edison, a husband and wife team,  manage a 60 acre citrus grove called Gamebird Groves in Deer Park.  They began this endeavor in 1999 when they both retired from an electrical engineer business.  'Retired' seems an unfair description of jumping from one busy life into another.  Their passions are: family (5 kids and 4 grandchildren), community service, and providing a stellar crop of citrus and peaches.  Their luscious navels and tangerines will be available at the Farm Market this Saturday.
"Remember God's bounty in the year. String the pearls of His favor. Hide the dark parts, except so far as they are breaking out in light! Give this one day to thanks, to joy, to gratitiude!"
