Greetings

We have just returned from a great 5 Animals Retreat in Seale Hayne, Newton Abbott Devon.  It was wonderful  to experience and observe the transformations in ourselves and others as we took on the mantle of the different Animals and found unexpected resources of strength and flexibility.
Always very popular and lots of good fun, great for health and fitness  the 5 Animals "frolics" is a stand alone form and is a great one to practise with colleagues and fellow 5 Animal lovers!

Additional Information about the Turtle & Snake Retreat (Nov 7-15)
So far the Turtle and Snake retreat has emphasized the Snake Gong ( body movement and postures), but in the forthcoming retreat, a new method of Turtle Gong will be introduced for the first time. This method is a further unfolding / evolution of the Turtle and Snake practice in the Hua Gong system and therefore carries great power and effectiveness in enhancing our level of Hua Gong practice in general..
While the Snake Gong imitates the snake movements and poses,  the Turtle Gong imitates the turtle's postures, movements and breathing. While the main effects of the Snake Gong has been on opening and  aligning the spine, the Turtle Gong is most effective in aligning and strengthening the neck,  sacrum, knees, elbows, hip joints, and shoulders, and on making a good connection between these parts or areas, and the spine, which is often a weaker part of our central nerve system and central Qi channels.
Students with intention to enhance their level of hua Gong practice and patients who have problems in the bone joints and central nerve system, should find this practice most helpful.
