The Year of the Wooden Goat

Greetings Subscriber

Happy Chinese New Year of the Goat!
Tonight, after the first full moon since the new year, we find that the energy is already extremely strong and nourishing.

The sounds of Spring are all around us and the Chinese new year of the Wooden Goat  launched itself almost imperceptively  onto our consciousness and our cosmos.  Characterized by the "Yang Qi" this will be a year of action and forward movement. Now is the time to begin that project, have the inspiration, grasp our Sword and move as the momentum increases

Many of us already enjoyed an early experience of this wonderful uplifting energy at the last London Weekend, when it seemed that our feet had wings and we were simply "Light".

Today also is the new season of Jing Zhe (awakening) and being so close to the recent full moon (just a day) many of us are indeed experiencing a powerful energy surge.

Calligraphy of the Month

Below is a Calligraphy from Zhixing for the month of March.  As this is a Qi Calligraphy, it has embedded in it a Transmission and Information.  Try to meditate on it throughout the month, note any energetic , emotional or physical responses as these are all possible to experience. Due to the deeply penetrating effects of Qi Calligraphy transformations can occur quite quickly.  Sense the liveliness and inspiration in this art.

This is the Chinese character for goat, ram, lamb, sheep or all animals in the category.  It is also the original word for auspicious or good luck.  The pronunciation is Yang as in "Yin" and "Yang"-lively energy.  So with the arrival of the year of the Goat comes abundance of lively Qi and good luck!

Important dates for your Diary
Weekend March 7-8
Venue: St Charles 6th Form College, St Charles Square W10 6EY
Registration: Saturday at 9.30am.
All students (new and advanced) are welcome to attend, the concept of learning to "connect" is a constant as we learn to revitalize and rejuvenate the physical body through attuning ourselves to the pre natal life force.  "Internally we cultivate the Dan-the highly concentrated Qi energy that can be experienced as a bright pearl rotating in the body-through meditation, and externally we express the beauty and power through artistic movements"

Weekend March 12-15
The same theme as the London weekends.
