The Year of the Red Monkey

Greetings Subscriber
Happy New Year!
We look forward to another year of activation, and nourishment from connection to the cosmic Qi.  Throughout 2015 we received instruction from Zhixing on basic fast forward methods or codes, on how to quickly connect to and receive cosmic energy.  The whole emphasis was and is to change our "overall energy capacity" as a living being.  From simple hand gestures to walking exercises we experienced the transition from a random, weak disorganised state to a collected one, capable of continuously invoking the nourishing Qi energy and drawing back lost energy.

We herald in the Chinese new year of the Red Monkey on February 8 2016.. This falls on the 2nd new moon after the Winter Solstice.  We trust you managed to tune in at the Winter Solstice and the very seed of the Yang Qi of the new year; (the Internal Alchemy Meditation is still on You Tube for now, and you are advised to continue meditating from 11pm to 1am). There will be an added emphasis on Internal Alchemy this year (the crown of the practice) as was initiated at the solstice.  Zhixing plans to hold further Internal Alchemy meditations on each New Moon, beginning on the 8th of February. Further details to follow in the next newsletter.

The fast moving, fast thinking exuberant Monkey energy with all its great motivation will bring lightening changes in 2016 and  the power will be very strong indeed.

This year Zhixing is taking a Hua Gong course to America.  The focus for the London Weekend is Essential Hua Gong.  More Joy is a keyword for our practice this year, with a focus on the enjoyment of it (rather than a problem solving focus).   The Devon weekends are Focused Hua Gong ("Five Fingers", "Five Organs" and "Five Emotions") and the details for the February one is below.  The Sword practice with Zhixing will continue on Saturday evenings of the London Weekend.

The Transmission with the Qi Calligraphy continues and below is a Calligraphy of the month from Zhixing.  Please use it as a focus for meditation throughout the month, and after a little experience youwill find your Qi energy is activated.

Yi Yang Lai Fu / One Yang Element Returns:
This is a statement from the Book of Yi Jing. The hexagram at the lower middle in the picture is called Fu meaning Return, which is one of the 64 Gua ( hexagram symbols). 'One Yang Element' refers to the only complete straight line at the bottom of the hexagram which is beneath layers of Yin  - the incomplete broken lines.  This symbol indicates that though the Yin is massive and dominating,  the underlining quality has become Yang.  A Yang element has come in to signal the beginning of a change.  It is at the middle night the next day begins. It is deep in the winter the buds begin to form. It is the seed that contains the whole life of a tree.  It is the small springs that eventually fill up the sea. It is a small improvement  that starts the process of a recovery. The Daoists see the opposite side of things and take the cold winter season (yearly) and the midnight time (daily) as a high time to cultivate the warm healthy positive Yang energy.  Small changes are taken significantly to accumulate great achievement.
