The Year of the Goat

April 2015

Greetings Subscriber
At last the warmth of Spring is here after the long sojourn of Winter, and with the passing of the Spring Equinox the days are slowly on the increase.

In the Yellow Emperors Classic on Medicine (The Neijing Suwen -240 BC) we are reminded that " The months of the Spring season bring about the revitalization of all things in nature. It is the time of birth. This is when Heaven and Earth are reborn.  During this season it is advisable to retire early and arise early.  Also go walking in order to absorb the fresh and invigorating energy".
Now is the time to renew our focus and realize our innermost potential; for the seeds of plans sown in the Autumn and Winter months are now coming forth in the Spring sunshine and can be realized!

Zhixing continues to teach the Hua Gong skills of connection to the Universal Qi and to draw back lost or scattered energy.  The hand positions are simple to do, but the effects are very strong indeed.  In a very short time many of us feel connected to the cosmic Qi and nourished with life force energy.

Just a reminder, due to the Easter Celebration the next Hua Gong weekend in London is April 11-12

Below  is a Qi Calligraphy from Zhixing for the month of April.  It is possible to tune into the embedded transmission by looking at the image and responding naturally.  You may begin to feel the energy and the joy as you connect to the prenatal Qi.  Emotions may also arise or a desire to move.

"This is the word to use when wishing someone good luck.  A good verdict from a divination is described by the same word.  It is also on the Blessing card that Zhixing designed.  Since we are still at the beginning of the year of the Wooden Goat this is given to send good wishes to all for an auspicious and prosperous year ahead".

A big welcome to all students both new and more experienced.  If it is your first weekend or you are a new student you will benefit by following the simple instructions and reflecting on how you respond physically, mentally and emotionally.
The concept of learning to "connect" to the Universal Energy is a constant, and we revitalize and rejuvenate the physical body in the process.

Your Say
Below is a poem by one of our students, expressing his gratitude for the joy of the Art of Qi Gong and of following the Way.

Make union with the cosmic mind,
Touch the void and one might find,
Holy men and sacred life,
Peace within, an end to strife.
Heavenly justice, natural law,
Knowledge, power, good health, what for?
Following the light, teaches how,
The way, the truth,
The nameless,
Nick Johnson

We wish you all the blessings of the season, a happy Easter and a month full of good health and Qi practice.
