Happy New Year!
As we welcome 2012, and the approaching year of the Dragon. If the powerful and exhilarating energy experienced by many of us at the December weekend is anything to go by we should be really excited about our Hua Gong practice this year.
Synonymous with power and strength the Dragon year may simultaneously challenge and strengthen us. So, we are advised to do our practice with special focus, to continuously clean our energy and upgrade our skills.
To aid us in this Zhixing has sent a Calligraphy image for us to meditate on, and to use as a Talismanic symbol.
Zhixing says " The symbols are not Chinese but they appeared spontaneously while in a state of Qigong. They are like signs from the cosmos.
It is believed in the spiritual tradition that people who practice well have more spiritual root and connection, and are therefore blessed by a heavenly energy which may bring good luck, fortune, and protection

The London Hua Gong Weekends 2012
Theme: Internal Alchemy and External Expression
The London Hua Gong monthly weekends will continue to transmit the cosmic Qi-the life nourishing energy described in the classical literature as "Mother Nature's Milk", and to "live broadcast" spiritual information.
This is like receiving direct instructions from the Dao of Nature, and we continue to get closer to the standards required by the practice and continue to refine our skills as practitioners.

Qigong Story Time
Many of us who know Maria well, are aware that her health issue compelled her to really go very deep into her Hua Gong practice. Her story is so inspiring and we are glad to hear that she has recently received excellent news about her condition. She has decided to contribute her story in order to express her appreciation for Hua Gong and the people who helped her on her journey back to health.
Below are her words.
"In July last year, a month after my mother's passing, I was diagnosed with a cancer which was described as high grade, aggressive and advanced. I almost did't mind, seeing it as a relief and a distraction from the almost unbearable pain of losing mum. My doctors thought that I stood very little chance of making it, without chemo.
One and a half years on, my health improvement is a mirror of my increasing desire to live life again, probably for the first time in my life, actually. The oncologists have said, they have never before witnessed this type of regression without treatment.
I attribute this success to the teachings of Zhixing and the miraculous healing sessions I'vie been receiving. My experience has shown me, how quickly things can change and, even if times are tough there is always a way to get through it.
During the December Hua weekend another gift was offered during the powerful Turtle Transmission, and a reminder, in case on occasion I have cause to forget, that I am protected.
All I have to do is to cultivate my connection and persist with my practice, even if I think I'm not getting anywhere; tune in and receive this abundance. I feel that all the searching and striving has been for this.
Without the Hua practice and Healing, I would probably be dead or still be wandering around without a map or a clue on where I was going or what I was looking for. Now, I'm beginning to get a sense of what's important to me.
Anyway, I feel privileged, lucky even.
Thank you also, to all my fellow Hua Congers for their friendship and support.
What an inspiring story at the dawn of the new year!
May we take this opportunity to wish you and your family once again a Happy New Year, and a wonderful year ahead full of Qi, Strength and Inspiration!
From all of us at Chinese Heritage.
