Year of the Snake
The Chinese new year of the Snake occurs on the 10th of February and we say good bye to an eventful year of the Dragon. Partaking of some of the Dragon energy the Snake year also promises to be one of strong energy, renewal and further progression on our chosen path.
Below is a Calligraphy for us to meditate on. As always we remind ourselves that the best way to benefit from the Qi Calligraphy is to imagine that it is looking at us and to respond to it naturally as we feel inspired.
Steady progress, renewed vigour and refined expression; these are just some of the characteristics of the Snake.
The Hua Gong practice will continue as it has been, internally we will cultivate the Dan-the pearl of light at our Dantian-the centre of our energy and physical body, and externally we express the inner beauty through artistic movements.
The alignment of our energy, the rertieval of scattered energy and the cultivation of our own Light are some of the most important aspects we will focus on in the year of the Snake.. This will lead to increased vitality, srength and rejuvenation. As a Snake sheds its skin so old stagnant energy is removed and a new potency is born!
The Qi Calligraphy by Zhixing and the words of Blessing from the ancient book of the Yi Jing will support us throughout the coming year.
YI: gain, benefit, progress, increase, success... It is the name of one of the 64 Gua (Hexagrams) in the book YI JING. Hope this piece of calligraphy will bring great success to everybody in your life and in your Hua Gong practice.
