Picnic in the Park!

From 10am to 2pm, we are putting on a picnic in the park next to the Beacon Hill Community Centre (2130 Radford Court) behind the big white church on Ogilvie road. We'll have music, freezies, face painting, and Oh Canada at noon.

But wait, there's more!

Councillor Tim Tierney is bringing over 350 hotdogs and a barbecue to hand out free hotdogs (until they run out).

Everything at the picnic will be free, all you need to do is bring your family and (possibly) a picnic.

At 9:30 the show begins, so get there early to get a spot. Don't forget to bring lawn chairs or a blanket. We'll be setting up in Loyola Park (on Loyola) so you'll be minutes from home. We'll have more free face painting, and a free bouncy castle before the show.

BHCA executives will be circulating prior to the explosions with donation cans (and email address collection forms) to collect what money you can spare to help us pay for this, THE BIGGEST SHOW WE'VE EVER PUT ON! (33% larger than last year)

You can also help us out with a PayPal donation at
