The SPPM, as we like to call it, is an invitational show featuring thirty of the region’s best potters and clay artists. Each year in the fall we hold an annual sale in the historic Cross Street Building in downtown Spruce Pine, North Carolina. Tourists and county residents alike will enjoy this opportunity to experience the diversity of the region’s talent and personalities. Work includes functional pottery, figurative sculpture, stoneware, earthenware, and more.  Come spend the day with us and enjoy our show, as well as yummy treats and a delicious lunch from our food vendor, Sweet Monkey!

Raffle
Buy a ticket at our show and have a chance to win one of these four pieces pictured below that were graciously donated by Jane Peiser, Michael Kline, Courtney Martin and Barking Spider Pottery. Visitors to the SPPM can purchase one ticket for $5, or 5 tickets for $20, and each ticket is entered into the drawing for either of the four pieces on display. One winning name is drawn for each piece at 5:00 pm on Sunday, and the winner is contacted to arrange for shipping.  The winner does not need to be present in order to claim their prize. In the past your contributions to our Spruce Pine Potters Market Raffle supported Mitchell County United Way and helped us continue to provide free admission for all to this unique event. This year's proceeds will go to our local non-profit, the Toe River Arts Council.
