Anger is a wind which blows out the lamp of the mind.
-Robert Green Ingersoll
One thing I’ve learned to love about Israel, is the amount of patience Israeli’s have for so many things in their everyday life. It’s almost like the Jewish nation understands that life is too precious to be short tempered, or be angry all the time. Some things are truly just not worth worrying about. I mean, seriously, think about it – G-d after all, is G-d.
Trust In The Lord With All Your Heart And Lean Not on Your own Understanding. In All Your Ways Submit To Him And He Will Make Your Paths Straight.
I have decided to send Little Jerusalem's 5th newsletter
out, first of all to say thank you for all of you who read and learn from them,
Second, to thank those praying for our ministry and third - just to give you a quick reminder/foundation
as to why we send these out. One of the main reasons G-d called me to send out these Hebrew filled news e-mails to people all over the globe is that I truly believe in sharing the crazy testimonies that take place not just to me, but to His people in His land. I am a fluent scholar in Hebrew according to the Hebrew University of Jerusalem, and part of the Israeli culture, and feel that G-d has lead me to share the O' so sought after revelations that have somewhat been misinterpreted from Hebrew to English. In language and cultural differences my gifting in communication has been given to help Israel be a light to the world. The Christian world is in a unimaginable place right now, where God is about to pour out secrets from Jerusalem to the ends of the earth, so that Israel's "calling" as a "light" - can be fulfilled. I am here to share how it's happening and what G-d is doing from and in His Holy City - Spiritually and Physically.
I would really like to encourage and ask you to share these newsletters with as many christians as possible. Forward them to anybody you think might need an encouraging word once a month from the Holy Land. We invite everyone and anyone to share with what G-d is doing in Jerusalem. You can subscribe people and e-mail addresses at the bottom of this newsletter so that more people can share in the Faith.
Once again, Thank you for standing with Little Jerusalem.
Please feel free to reply and give us your thoughts.
Your lives are about to get very Exciting.
Hebrew Revelation For The Day!
The long nose of G-d.
Many times in our English Bible it talks about being slow to anger, long suffering, or patient, In The Hebrew Bible given to us, they actually don't use those Hebrew words. they use the Hebrew expression, which was something completely different -
"The Long Nose" or in Hebrew ארוך אפיים, (Aroch Afa'im). Which directly translated into English means long nose.
Long of Nose. אֶרֶךְ אַפַּיִם
A good example would be to look at King Solomons words in Proverbs 14:29:
Whoever is Long of Nose (Patient) has great understanding,
but one who is Short of Wind (quick-tempered) displays folly....
In Exodus 34:6, G-d Himself tells Moses that He is Long of Nose: “And he passed in front of Moses, proclaiming, “The LORD, the LORD, the compassionate and gracious God, Long of Nose (Slow to anger), abounding in love and faithfulness,"
Don’t you love how the Hebrew version describes our G-d. G-d calling Himself Long Nosed, Maybe thats why the whole world sais Jewish people have big noses. They've learned to be patient with their G-d and G-d's learned to be patient with them. That’s awesome. I believe in our microwave Generation of today, having a long nose is the one thing we can all put some more attention on. If you trust G-d in your circumstances, be patient, be slow to anger. Be long nosed – For we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love Him, who have been called according to His purpose.
