Hey! This one is especially for you!
Shalom Friends

Today is the Global day of prayer for Israel. So I decided to dedicate our Newsletter to Grace. A simple word in English that I believe is the most misunderstood word in the world. Have you ever thought about it? What is Grace? What does it mean? As you know, my name is Shaun, the definition of my name is commonly known as “God’s Gracious Gift”. So the question of Grace is always on my mind. So I took it to the books. Did you know the dictionary has over 40 different definitions of the word?

The five that stood out most was:
1. A manifestation of favor, especially by a superior.
2. The condition of being in God’s favor, or one of the elect.
Antonyms. Harshness, Animosity, enmity, Disfavor.
3. The freely given, unmerited favor and love of God.
4. The influence or spirit of God operating in humans to regenerate or strengthen them.
5. Synonyms: forgiveness, kindness, Favor, charity, mercifulness, Lenity, Leniency, reprieve.
Antonyms. Harshness, Animosity, enmity, Disfavor.
Grace is the bridge from darkness to light, from death to life.
I believe Grace is at the core of the heart of God. As it is written:
“And if by Grace, then it cannot be based on works, if it were, grace would no longer be grace” “We believe that through the grace of our Lord Jesus we are saved, and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God."
Wow. You didn’t get yourselves “saved”. Be humbled, because He’s Grace saved you. Did you know you glorify God the most when you need him the most. In other words, listen carefully: Trying in your own strength, or working your way into everlasting life is a waste of time. That’s what makes believers different from other religions. It is in our faith, that we receive Grace, not by works. Grace is not a fruit of the spirit, but it is at the root of the tree.

Hebrew Revelation For The Day!
Grace (Chessed) חסד
In Hebrew the word for Grace is "Chesed", but if you ask an Israeli to translate the word, it’s like you're asking them to explain their soul. The answer always becomes a teaching, and ends with: “you simply can’t translate it”
Do you know why the number 5 means Grace, because it was the 5th letter of the Hebrew Alphabet, the ה “Hay” that God put in Abram’s name, changing it to Abraham, And Sara, to Sarah. In other words, He put His Grace in them. Romans 11 states: "At the present time there is remnant chosen by Grace".  Abraham is the father of our faith, and the remnant is the ה “Hay” in his name, because of He’s covenant with God. “He stepped out in Faith to a place he did not know". It is not in our legalistic, self-righteous abilities, we are not a religion like Islam through fear and works, but a Faith in Jesus by His Grace. Isn’t that Awesome? Thank You God For Your Grace!!!
