The Science of Sewage
The wastewater system is part of our urban water cycle. Only toilet paper may be flushed down the toilet! With a shortage of toilet paper resulting from COVID-19 demands, there has been increased use and flushing of non-flushable materials such as kleenex, baby wipes, napkins and paper towels. This is one of the things that 4th grade students learn at the Red River Water Festival.  Check out this great video below from Water Environment Federation on the Science of Sewage. #LearntheRed

Native Pollinator Gardening Workshop Postponed

In response to the Coronavirus and concern for the health and safety of our community, we are postponing the Introduction to Native Pollinator Gardening workshop until October 13 and 20.
