Moorhead Reforest the Red
Volunteers are needed to plant trees and shrubs along the Red River on Friday, June 7th from 1-4:30 p.m. at River Oaks Park. Planting native species along the Red River offers many benefits from helping stabilize banks to protecting the water quality.

Volunteers will dig holes, plant, mulch and water. Short trainings will be held throughout the event.  For safety reasons, we ask that one adult is present for every five youth K-8.

Project Partners include: City of Moorhead and Clay County Soil & Water Conservation District.  Sponsored in part by River Network through the Anheuser-Busch Foundation that supports restoration projects in recognition of World Environment Day and Ward Muscatell Subaru.

To volunteer for this project, contact Kim at Kimberly@riverkeepers.org or 701.356.8915.
