Relevant. Timely. Useful.
How 'bout dat re guidance, feedback and information for your golf swing, game, and strolls upon life's ever-morphing sidewalks?
Instead, so many of our self-appointed (why is a license, a permit, a certification, an advanced degree - or just legitimate expertise - not required in order to post information, and 'prescribe?') relayers of links wisdom, living upon our ever frequented blue-lit screens, opt for bravado, coolio (never mind the actual physics) swing videos & verbiage (irrelevant to so many...), combined with fashionable (scantily-clad is some cases - very useful for clicks & eyeballs - useless for golf performance) looks, to garner our attention (whilst stroking their egos and pocketbooks).
I understand, regrettably.
So, I shan't go there - nor shall I pitch, promote or pander... anything today. No remote coaching options for clear, consistent & competent feedback on the betterment process. No Train2Trust principles designed to optimize your practice & have your learnings last and transfer to the golf course. No life and golf altering insight (still some attempt at humor, however..)
Instead this fine mid-September day, I offer you a piece of music yet again - but this time sans lyrics, nor CS input.
Click on a slinging Sammy Baugh above as the NFL season kicks off (how's that for relevant and timely) for a useful blast from The Over The Hill Gang. Sit back, relax, and listen.
Useful, you may ask? How so?
Music elicits emotions.
Emotions evoke thought.
Thought precedes action.
And not just any action - action with purpose, intention and passion - in and out of the golf park.
"Don't ask what the world needs. Ask what makes you come alive, and go do it. Because what the world needs is people who have come alive."
-- Howard Thurman
