Can't See The Forest For The Trees

Amen. And you thought whacking your tee shot into the lumber was problematic... So very dangerous to believe one single element is the 'end all' for better golf performance, including golf ball 'behavior.' Beware of looking at things individually, or being too close to a situation, and forgetting that a chunk of 'separate' trees go together to make the forest.

Take a step back for some perspective, friends, and question where your focus lies; have you failed to see the overall picture on the links, and in playing that other game, life?

To follow, some food for thought (pun intended) for healthier & wiser version of 'you,' wherever you may be roaming...

Snout to Tail

Yuck, say you - kinda like going with a funky (yet effective) putting grip, hitting a fairway metal other than one that has a "3" on its bottom (cause it launches higher, and goes farther), or using your feet (Old Tom Morris did) to help better discern the line of a putt. 

Time to wake up and smell the proverbial coffee and start putting the right - and righteous - nutrients into your mind, body, spirit system.  Overfed & undernourished is no way to go through your rapidly fleeting life, boys and girls.  You think marking lower scores on your card is all about 'perfect' club & body positions?  Think again...

Stuck on that Tree

The way you used to swing, or play.  The "this worked yesterday" cue, feel or thought.  The dreaded time-warp your equipment (physical body + clubs) is cemented in.  Yet 2020 will be here in the blink of an eye...

You know the mental, emotional and spiritual sides to better performance are crucial - but do you remained rooted in systems that discourage growth?  Back to that reading thing so you can better see the forest, amigos...
