Preparing for success

Summer holidays are here for some and almost for others. Whether you have children that will be spending more time around you and one another this summer, or children that have returned from being away at University or College, this is a good time to reflect on what creates conflict between your family members and to explore ways to live more harmoniously together. If you like this idea, then you will find my article on living happily ever after under the same roof helpful.

If you have a child in secondary school or one that is about to graduate, you will be inspired and interested in what a high school teacher, with 17 years experience, has to say about how we can best prepare our teens for life post secondary school. Even if your child is going into Grade 9, its never too soon to start thinking ahead. Listen in on my conversation with Mr C by clicking on the podcast mentioned below

News & Notes

You may have heard that I am now facilitating support groups for women over the age of fifty. Thus far, one six week group has concluded and another is almost done. The feedback I have received from the women in attendance has been outstanding. The support, laughter and way in which the women inspire one another is more than I could have hoped for. More groups will be starting in the Fall. Please let me know if you are interested in attending. My talented graphic designer daughter is currently working on creating a website (a mother's day gift) and this will be up by the end of June - check it out at

Enjoy your summer!
