This is the 13th year that R4R will be making the trek to Sacramento and many Emerson community members are participating!!!

R4AR has raised over $1.2 million for public schools in Oakland and Alameda over these 12 years. COVID 19 has highlighted the glaring inequities in our education system, and the challenges facing our school children are as great as ever. Our riders are as committed as ever to ride and raise awareness for our dismally underfunded school system that affects us all as students, parents, teachers, and neighbors.

Click below to make a pledge with our Emerson Team!
Thank you Ms. Vetter, Mr. Limatta, Edward Frank and Kara Durand!

Want to Ride??

Hello Emerson PTA Members!!

We will hold a special meeting on Thursday April 28th at 6:00 pm to elect a new President. The vote will be the only item on the agenda.

We have two candidates for President, Ingrid Hogle and Porsha Sparks. A second email with their candidate statements will be sent in a week or so.

Please show appreciation to Coaches Andre, Jason,
Limata, and Makayla!

They have been providing a tremendous all-volunteer service to the Emerson community by leading the basketball, soccer, and cheerleading squads for many years! This school year, Coach Andre and Coach Jason started the Emerson basketball season during summer break, and Mr. Limata and Coach Makayla started their soccer and cheerleading season in early winter.

Our coaches host weekly (sometimes more!) practices and games. They do this on their own time and expense, and help out with snacks and registration fees. Help with their transportation costs and time they spend after school and weekends with our kids. Any amount helps to thank them for their generosity and mentoring.
