SCEEP Offers Energy Efficiency Tools Giveaway at Santa Barbara Earth Day Festival

Santa Barbara, CA, April 07, 2015 – The South Coast Energy Efficiency Partnership (SCEEP) is giving away free Energy Savings Kits and Light Emitting Diode (LED) lightbulbs at the Community Environmental Council’s 2016 Santa Barbara Earth Day Festival. The giveaway will take place on Saturday only from 1:00 - 1:45 p.m. at Santa Barbara County’s booths (#166-167) in the Public Square section of the festival.

SCEEP officials will also be on hand at the booth during this time offering information and advice to promote efficient and more sustainable energy use in our region. The kits and lightbulbs will be distributed on a first come, first serve basis while supplies last.

The complimentary Energy Savings Kits are provided by SoCalGas and feature water-saving tools which help homeowners not only reduce water use but also save on energy costs. The LED high efficiency light bulbs, compliments of Southern California Edison, consume significantly less electricity than compact fluorescent and incandescent light bulbs.
