PCNW is pleased to welcome Richard Renaldi's acclaimed Touching Strangers to our gallery and Seattle this September 12–October 29. Join us for an opening reception and lecture next Friday, September 12. Renaldi will also be leading a master workshop, which is filling up quickly, so make sure to register today!
Renaldi creates spontaneous and fleeting connections between strangers by asking them to physically interact while posing together. Often pushing his subjects beyond their comfort levels, through his photographs Renaldi breaks down the societal barriers that separate us. This exhibition is curated by Ann Pallesen, Gallery Director of Photographic Center Northwest, Seattle and is organized by Aperture Foundation, New York.
