Many greetings from Tanzania where we are full of joy this Giving Tuesday.
Many Greetings from Tanzania on this Giving Tuesday!
Terrawatu received fantastic news last week...after a year of consistent use of the tablets in the KioKit at Natema Primary School, attendance at school was way up, students' grades in English class were significantly higher, AND, the results from the national exams helped to raise the school ranking in Arusha District from #48 in 2017 to #18 this year!!!
Terrawatu has been committed to improving education in Tanzania since its founding in 2001. Our belief is that when children in developing countries are well-educated, they grow into adults who are proud to build their lives in their home countries.
With your help this Giving Tuesday, we are on a one-day mission to raise $2500. These funds will go towards purchasing 4 more laptops for the teachers at Natema Primary School to assist them in their work; cultivation of moringa; and supporting students at Kibowa.
Go to our Giving Pageto support our education projects, children at our orphanage, and our new environmental programs.
Thank you from all of us at Terrawatu!
The teachers of Natema Primary School with Co-Director Dr. Tanya Pergola and Project Director Ms. Angella Marcel
