October 2015 - Gallin Beeler Design Studio Architects, PLLC (GBds), was honored at the opening of their brand new office in Pleasantville, NY for achieving Westchester Green Business Certification (WGB-Certified), a joint program of Westchester County and The Business Council of Westchester. Deputy County Executive Kevin Plunkett and Business Council of Westchester President and CEO Marsha Gordon helped principals Ray Beeler and Michael Gallin declare the new office open for business and presented awards on becoming the first architectural firm in Westchester County to receive Green Business Certification.

Westchester Green Business Challenge - First launched in 2009 in partnership with Westchester County, this Business Council of Westchester program helps Westchester-based organizations learn about and implement sustainable business practices that help them reduce greenhouse gas emissions and overhead costs, and receive recognition as corporate citizens.
Westchester Green Business-Certified - In January of 2014, WGBC launched this certification program for business leaders ready to deepen their commitment to environmental practices and sustainability within their organizations by providing the tools, training and expertise needed at an affordable rate, accomplished through a collaborative platform and “peer-sharing” approach.
