Recent Activity

Met students from the 'Right to Dream' Academy in Ghana in Westminster, with their Bromsgrovian coach.

Visited Grange Hill House care home in Hunnington and met with Anthony Billingham and Karen Jenkins, co-owners, as well as residents and staff.

Met West Mercia Police’s Chief Constable David Shaw and Hereford and Worcester's Chief Fire Officer Mark Yates to discuss plans for a new combined Police and Fire & Rescue Station in Bromsgrove.

Spoke at the Kings Norton Supper Club 'Bromsgrove & Beyond', held at the Kings Norton Golf Club.

In addition to my regular office-based advice surgeries, held “Street Surgeries” in Bromsgrove town centre and in Hagley with local councillors.

Visited Hagley library and met with manager Janine Payne.

Met with the Redditch and Bromsgrove Clinical Commissioning Group to discuss local health issues.

Spoke about the Coalition Government at an event hosted by the Institute of Economic Affairs.
 
Met with local business people to discuss relevant government policies.

Attended the Worcestershire Association of Governors AGM and gave keynote speech.

Chaired the Conservative Police & Crime Commissioner hustings in Barnt Green.

Met with President of the National Farmers Union to discuss West Midlands farming issues.

Met constituents who attended an event for dairy farmers in Westminster and discussed agricultural issues.

Spoke at an event on executive pay hosted by Policy Exchange.

Local stroke services which are currently split between at Redditch's Alexandra Hospital and the Worcestershire Royal could all be based in Worcester under a controversial proposal to be discussed on Tuesday (May 22).
