Had the pleasure of
opening the new office of leading marketing communications agency, Gough Bailey Wright (GBW), which has been providing services in the region since 1936, and recently celebrated their 10th anniversary with owners Sue Bailey and Michelle Wright.
Met with Citizen Advice staff and thanked them for their work in providing constituents with free advice and support across the country including Bromsgrove.
Visited residents in Hopwood to discuss concerns over the A441 road.
Launched Google's Digital Garage in Birmingham, helping small businesses in the Midlands compete in the digital age.
Discussed productivity plans with local businesses in Birmingham to strengthen the relationship between businesses and government.
Joined the Prime Minister, and over 100 British companies to Singapore and Malaysia to
create strong investment links between the UK and South East-Asia.
Met with Rolls Royce Asia in Singapore, who recently signed a
£340 million contract with Vietnamese Airlines, and learnt about their latest aerospace technology.
Delighted to
open Cadbury's new state-of-the-art manufacturing line in Birmingham, a crucial step to strengthening the Midlands Engine, by bringing £75 million of investment in Bournville by Mondelēz International.
Congratulated Bromsgrove Special Olympic champions Ben O'Brien and George Brunt, who proudly represented Great Britain in the 2015 World Summer Games.
Had the pleasure of welcoming interns into my Parliamentary Office in Westminster, to gain insight on the work which takes place in Parliament.
Finally, not only have we created enough school spaces in Worcestershire to meet the demands for 2016/2017, but almost all of the new places created are in schools rated 'good' or 'outstanding' by Ofsted- which is higher than the national average!
