Recent Activity
Visited Woodrush High School and Waseley Hills High School and met the headteachers to discuss educational issues.
Attended the MPs’ meeting at Worcestershire County Council to consider matters affecting Bromsgrove and the wider county.
Attended a Question Time event in Wthyall as part of the panel.
Visited staff and patients at the Alexandra Hospital to mark its 25th anniversary.
Launched this year’s Poppy Appeal with the Bromsgrove branch of the Royal British Legion.
Visited local business HME Technology Ltd, a market leader in manufacturing Design and Technology and Science equipment for schools.
Joined Community Service Volunteers’ “Make a Difference Day” at The Trunk in Charford to encourage people to volunteer to help others in their community.
Opened the new “Hinge & Bracket” DIY store with owner Dave Powell.
Visited Dodford Children's Holiday Farm and discussed the farm’s work in providing holidays and short breaks for less fortunate children and particularly those living in deprived areas.
Met Harry Turner, Chairman of Worcestershire Acute Hospitals NHS Trust, to discuss the concerns of constituents and the ongoing improvements being made at the Alexandra.
Met local business owners and discussed the local and national economy with them at Bromsgrove District Council’s “Meeting for Business” event.

The Osborne supremacy
Perhaps the two most interesting promotions have little or no prior relationship with Mr Osborne. Chloe Smith, at just 29, replaces Ms Greening at the Treasury while Sajid Javid, one of the best of the 2010 intake of MPs, takes over from Mr Hands as Mr Osborne's PPS.
