Welcome to the July 2016 edition of Sajid Javid MP's newsletter.

Welcome

to the July edition of my e-Newsletter.

I would like to begin with a dedication to Jo Cox MP. The tragic loss of our parliamentary colleague has broken the hearts of her family, a town, the nation. Jo was assassinated whilst serving those people she fought so hard to stand up for. When I say fought, it seems that Jo had a very different approach to this than we so often see. Jo fought for unity. She recognised and cherished that we have more in common than that which divides us.

Yet through the darkness of sorrow, Jo’s star has shone out to us all. Jo has brought us together in a very special moment of national unity. In Bromsgrove and across the country, we must live out the message that Jo made so clear to us. In unity we are stronger, in unity we defy evil, and in unity we can bring change for the better.

It's important for me to hear your comments, thoughts, and feedback, so please don't hesitate to contact me.

Congratulations to NewStarts on their 10th Anniversary. A fantastic local charity we are all so proud of.

Finally, there is a 72% fall in Bromsgrove youth unemployment since 2010 - now 1.7%. Good news for young people. I will keep doing more to bring this down further.
