Recent Activity
Met Neil Stote, head of the 'Save the Alex' campaign. Discussed my backing for the campaign and signed the petition (which now has the support of over 30,000 people).
Visited Rubery’s indoor market and met Paul and Julia Larner to discuss plans for the new outdoor market.
Met Councillor Juliet Brunner and members of the Matchborough Youth Forum in Westminster.
Met Gambian exchange students from North Bromsgrove High School.
Visited Rubery Library with manager Bev Orlowsky.
Met representatives from the Barnt Green Residents Association to discuss local planning issues.
Took part in a debate on Radio 5’s Double Take programme about the banking sector.
Interviewed on the Daily Politics show on the economy.
Met local dairy farmers at an National Farmers Union event in Westminster to listen to their very legitimate concerns over the price of milk .
Visited Rubery residents who have been affected by flooding after the recent heavy rainfall.
Met the Headteacher of Woodrush Academy to discuss education matters.
Attended the archery event at the Blackwell Olympics.
Met NSPCC representatives to discuss the review of service provision for under 2s in Worcestershire.
Visited Sanders Park for the event to mark the opening of the Olympics and spoke to those attending.
Met Bromsgrove’s Street Pastors before a service at St John’s to launch the group.
Hosted reception for Project Trust, an educational charity, in Parliament.
Met with Stephen Hester, Head of RBS, to discuss UK banking issues.
