Attended a breakfast briefing on Local Enterprise Partnerships to discuss ways of boosting local businesses.

Opened Buckingham House at Moundsley Care Village.

Toured the extension to NEW College.

Attended the Slideslow & Tardebigge councillors’ surgery and coffee morning.

Met the new Chief Constable for West Mercia Police to discuss local policing matters.

Opened the Tardebigge Fair and Show.

Visited Primrose Hospice’s Craft Fayre and toured their new Family Support Service building.

Met the organisers of the Bromsgrove Armed Forces Memorial Fund, endorsed their campaign and discussed fundraising activities.

Attended seminar on policy planning and localism.

Laid the last brick at the The Stroke Association’s Life After Stroke Centre, the first dedicated stroke care centre in the country.

Visited The Foyer in Aston Fields to discuss the problems of homelessness.

Attended the Belbroughton & Clent coffee morning for a wide-ranging Q&A session with local residents.

Visited Hagley Primary School.

Attended Clent village charity quiz fundraiser.
