Met with young people from Worcestershire in Westminster.

Visited the Army Careers Office in Worcester and met army regulars and new recruits.

Attended briefing by the Chancellor.

Trained at the Royal Military College Sandhurst as part of the Armed Forces Parliamentary Scheme.
  
Visited NEW College to promote National Apprenticeship Week.
 
Attended a coffee morning with residents of Alvechurch.
 
Officially opened The Lounge internet café in Alvechurch.
 
Addressed the Events with the Edge breakfast meeting at Grafton Manor.
 
Visited Dora Cheadle on her 100th birthday at The Leys residential home.
 
Opened the new premises of Steatite Ltd with Karen Lumley MP.
  
Held a meeting with the principal of NEW College and local headteachers

Visited Wythall police station.

Completed the Armed Forces Parliamentary Scheme induction course at Shrivenham military college.
 
Briefed by Michael Gove and Sarah Teather on the Government’s education reforms.

Official opening of new Steatite facilities

Steatite, the UK's largest provider of advanced computer-based measurement, automation systems and battery packs for mission-critical applications, officially opened their new self-contained, purpose-built facility located within the Ravensbank Business Park in Redditch, Worcestershire.

A hairdressing masterclass and business breakfast were some of the events organised by bosses at NEW College as part of National Apprenticeship Week, which took place from last Monday to last Friday (February 7 to 11).
