Met Rotary Club of Bromsgrove President Bob Foxall to discuss launch of the Diamond Sensory Garden in Sanders Park in partnership with Bromsgrove District Council and the revamp of Bromsgrove High Street.
Visited the new Lloyds Pharmacy in New Road Bromsgrove, and met Kinn Pansare, pharmacist, who explained their new format to help the general public manage their own health and wellbeing.
Met Neil Stote and visited the "Save the Alex" campaign in Bromsgrove High Street.
Visited Meadows First School to meet Headteacher Sue Hewitt and have a Q&A session about democracy with pupils.
Met 'IF' campaigners, Barbara Hayes and Jane Lavery to discuss fair taxation of multinational companies and transparency.
Met Bentley and Paucefoot Parish Councillors to discuss planning issues and residents' concerns for the area.
Joined the panel of the BBC Question Time programme broadcast from Worcester Cathedral on 25 April.
Visited Chadsgrove School for its "Celebrating Art" event and met pupils, parents, governors and teachers.
Visited Beacon Farm and met local farmers and NFU members to discuss agricultural issues such as Bovine TB and dairy product prices.
Attended funeral of Lady Thatcher in London.
Visited St Godwald's housing development site to see issues raised by local residents.
Visited Lickey End Stores and met shop owner Vicky Onions to discuss plain-packaging of cigarettes and deterrents to prevent young people from smoking.
Held Street Surgeries in Barnt Green and Wythall with County Council candidates in the local elections being held on Thursday 2nd May.
Popped into Bromsgrove District Council’s Hub to chat to staff following the Government’s reform of the benefits system.
Met with North Worcestershire Rotary Club to discuss their Stroke Awareness Campaign.
Attended annual Charity Civic Dinner at Hagley Hall in aid of Primrose Hospice, the Stroke Association and Edward's Trust.

Met with Kevin Dicks, Chief Executive of Bromsgrove District Council, and Roger Hollingworth, council leader, to discuss district-wide issues.

Hundreds of Bromsgrove residents dropped in on a stall run by Save the Alex campaigners last weekend. The Alexandra Hospital in Redditch - the general hospital serving Bromsgrove - could be downgraded following a review into the future of health services.

In a letter to Mr Balls, Treasury Economic Secretary Sajid Javid demanded he spell out Labour’s plans for reducing public spending. He said: “We are delivering on our promise to make work pay even in these tough times. Since you became shadow Chancellor, Labour have opposed every single saving we are making to live within our means".
