Recent Activity


Joined BBC Question Time as a panelist in Doncaster.

Visited Ultimate Audio, successful local business with Worcestershire Federation of Small Businesses Chairman, Judi Brazkiewicz to promote Small Business Saturday.

Raised awarness of Small Business Saturday among stall holders and shop owners in Bromsgrove High Street, and discussed their concerns.

Delivered my speech in Birmingham on Conservative plans to help small businesses.

Joined Cllrs Caroline Spencer and Rod Laight at their regular ward surgeries in Aston Fields.

Spoke at Rubery Old Folks Christmas Lunch at the The Beacon Centre.

Visited Redfrost Ltd, Photographic Studios in Stoke Prior. Met with the owners and heard how they have successfully managed their business through the recession.

Held my regular Street Surgery in Bromsgrove High Street, glad to speak with so many people out shopping in our town centre.

Glad to welcome Woodrush Community High School on their visit to Parliament and answer their questions. 

Visited schools and presented prizes to the winners of my annual Christmas Card Competition; The School Council, 7-9 years, Catshill First School. Also presented prizes to the runners up; Emily Rippin, 4 years old, The Coppice Primary School; Kyle Dickson, 8 years old. Charford First School; and Callie Harris, 7 years old, Meadows FIrst School.

Popped into newly opened Lorita's Bakehouse in Bromsgrove High St. Wonderful cakes made on the premises. Good luck to Lorita with her first business.
