Recent Activity

Visited Chadsgrove School with Councillor Margaret Sherrey and met with headteacher Deb Rattley and school governors.

Met w
ith Bromsgrove District Housing Trust CEO Mike Brown to discuss local housing issues.

Visited Dodderhill School and spoke to Year 10 students about politics.

Joined residents in Blackwell for Christmas carols
at the Methodist Church and for the Christmas fair at Blackwell First School.

Attended the "Rubery Old Folks Christmas Party" at The Beacon Centre.

Attended a working breakfast with William Bratton, former chief of police of the Los Angeles police and former New York City police commissioner and now adviser to the Government.

Met two local businessmen and eight local children from Bromsgrove in Westminster to deliver a Christmas tree to the Chancellor at Number 11, Downing Street.

Joined residents and staff at Abbeyfield House for their Christmas celebration.


Met with Worcestershire County Council's David Balme, Transport Planning Officer, and Steve Harrison, Planning, Transport, Policy & Strategy Team Leader to discuss plans to relocate and renovate Bromsgrove railway station.

Paid a Christmas visit to the staff and patients at the Princess of Wales Community Hospital.

Discussed the ongoing improvements being made at the Alexandra Hospital with Harry Turner,
chairman of Worcestershire Acute Hospitals NHS Trust.

Visited Dodford School and Beoley School to meet the winner and runner-ups of my 2011 Christmas card design competition.

A Christmas tree donated by a Major Green business has been proudly put up at Number 11 Downing Street, the official residence of the Chancellor.

The owners of a Majors Green Christmas Tree business was heading down to Downing Street yesterday (Thursday) to provide Chancellor George Osborne with a wreath and Christmas tree for number 11.
