It was good to see my first Pensioners Fair well attended and enjoyed by so many last week. It was a fantastic opportunity to help residents learn more about the services and support that are available across Bromsgrove. 

As we enter Advent I'd like to wish you all a very happy Christmas and hope that you take the time to enjoy the holiday season with your loved ones.

Recent Activity

I am delighted with the outcome of my annual Christmas card competition. Congratulations to the very talented Alivia Langley from The Coppice Primary School.

Well done to the three runners-up, Carla McDermott, Abi-Mae Smith and Isabella Walton. It was a very close competition.

I enjoyed speaking about optimism, innovation and growth at the Worcestershire LEP Annual Conference.

Held a very constructive meeting with new chair of Worcestershire Acute Hospitals NHS Trust, Caragh Merrick. I was encouraged by her drive, energy and local experience.

It was great to see the town come together for Bromsgrove's biggest ever Remembrance Sunday parade. We will always remember them. 

Privileged to give a reading at the Bromsgrove Remembrance Sunday parade.

Pleased to join leading West Midlands marketing agency Gough Bailey Wright for their 80th anniversary celebration. Thank you for all you do for our local community.

It was a privilege to open the Bromsgrove Christmas Market, which had lots of local stalls and family entertainment.

Spoke in Parliament about the role of the Church in Community Cohesion.

A big thank you to everyone who exhibited at my Bromsgrove Pensioners Fair. It was a real success with over forty-five stands offering support and advice.

Thank you to everyone who attended my first Pensioners Fair. I look forward to hosting another one in 2017! 

Had a very good meeting with the Worcestershire Local Medical Committee. It is important that we continue to work together to build an even stronger local NHS.

Had the honour of speaking at the Asian Business Chamber of Commerce Awards in Birmingham. Such passion is making the Midlands Engine greater than the sum of its parts.

Good to chat to BBC Hereford and Worcestershire about my novelty face mask!

Finally, it's encouraging to hear that Bromsgrove unemployment continues to remain low at just 1%. As always, still more to do.
