I am delighted with the outcome of my annual Christmas card competition. Congratulations to the very talented Alivia Langley from The Coppice Primary School.

Well done to the three runners-up, Carla McDermott, Abi-Mae Smith and Isabella Walton. It was a very close competition.

I enjoyed speaking about optimism, innovation and growth at the Worcestershire LEP Annual Conference.

Held a very constructive meeting with new chair of Worcestershire Acute Hospitals NHS Trust, Caragh Merrick. I was encouraged by her drive, energy and local experience.

Had a very good meeting with the Worcestershire Local Medical Committee. It is important that we continue to work together to build an even stronger local NHS.

Had the honour of speaking at the Asian Business Chamber of Commerce Awards in Birmingham. Such passion is making the Midlands Engine greater than the sum of its parts.
