Dear Friend of Turnings Points for Children,
On Monday, February 24, I will be in Washington D.C. as part of a symposium featuring a diverse group of individuals and organizations examining the challenges facing our communities and the creative and innovative solutions we are finding to instill hope. The discussion is part of Senator Bob Casey’s 14th Annual Black History Month Celebration. I am honored to represent Turning Points for Children and be part of this prestigious panel that includes representatives from the United Way of Lancaster County, the Center that CARES (Pittsburg) and Duquesne University School of Law.
I’m deeply grateful to Senator Casey for inviting me to participate in such an important discussion. I’m looking forward to bringing back to our team great insight from our colleagues across the Commonwealth!
