FATHER'S DAY

PRIDE AND JOY
It is with pride and joy we welcome visitors back the the Museum of Sculpture, now in our 30th year.  The Museum is open to the public every day and it is wonderful to see new visitors discovering Andrew's work for the first time.

There is a Pearl Celebration weekend planned for the August Bank Holiday weekend and an Andrew Logan exhibition at Bonnington Gallery, Nottingham in September.

JOYFUL CELEBRATIONS

The first couple of 2021 are due to marry at the museum next week, after waiting nearly a year and rescheduling their ceremony many times.  We are so excited to be hosting the wedding of Helen and Kevin on 18th June.  If you are planning your own 'Joyful Celebration' and searching for a intimate and interesting venue, please contact us for more information.

THIS IS GRATITUDE
Andrew always has lots of projects on the go at any one time and we can give you a sneaky preview of the statue he has been working on for the Gratitude Project.

Gratitude brings together 49 human form sculptures, all designed by individual artists who want to pay tribute to the NHS. The collection will be launched in Birmingham on 20th August, then tour the UK.

BLUE CAT SCULPTURE
Andrew Logan Blue Cat Sculpture

Andrew has created a new sculpture called 'Blue Pussy and the Berlin Wall' which is now for sale online.  The fabulous feline is adorned with a mosaic of turquoise mirror, crystals, polished stones and glitter.  She proudly sits next to a small heart, featuring a duck-egg-blue fragment of the Berlin Wall.

You may remember in April and May, there was a competition to customise your own Cosmic Egg T-shirt.  Thank you to all those who entered, we loved seeing your designs.  Andrew couldn't decide on a winner between the above two entries, so has awarded them both with the first prize.

TIME FOR TEA
Andrew at Zoom tea party to raise awareness for Alzheimer's charity.
Dame Zandra Rhodes hosted a Zoom tea party on behalf of the Alzheimer’s charity of Keck school of Medicine at The university of Southern California, headed up by the Professor of the department Paul Aisen.
Zandra’s guests were Anna Sui in New York,
Joan Quinn in LA , Carol McNicoll and Janet Slee in London and of course, Andrew in the Museum of Sculpture, in Wales.
