Zero Cost Calls

Have you ever had the situation whereby a call has no cost associated to it and you think it should do.  Within our User Support Blog, we have created a Zero Cost Calls – Where to Start document to start the process of identifying whether there is an issue.

You will quickly see that this refers to a number of other How To... documents such as Tariff Files - an explanation, Next Steps and the Manual - all of which are available on the User group site.  These can all be found within the LJ Support Blog.
 

Hacked Telephone Systems

On the other extreme of Zero Cost Calls, we are hearing of more and more Telephone Systems being hacked.

We would suggest that you run a regular Daily Check report on the previous week, to look for daily trends in the numbers of calls you make/receive, etc.  Remember to make sure that all your switch and computer passwords are changed from their default - you may need to talk to your maintainer for this but it may save you horrific call costs which you are liable for from your Tariff Provider. 

Furthermore, it is worth talking to your tariff provider to see if they are able to cap your trunks for a spend over £x. To see your daily spend, why not run a Site Activity report, which will show you, your daily spend.
