Check out native seeds for your spring garden at the Seed Library

The newest idea to sprout at Austin Public Library is the Central Texas Seed Library. Started by a grassroots group of seed savers, gardeners, horticulturists and social activists, the seed library will allow gardeners to exchange heirloom, locally adapted and native varieties of flowers, fruits, vegetables and other useful plants for Central Texas.

Everyone is welcome to "check out" and "return" seeds from the collection, and attend free programs on related topics.
