Rabbi Helfgot's Weekly Shiurim
Rabbi Helfgot will be giving his weekly shiurim on Sefer Ezra and Nehemiah this Sunday morning after Shacharit and Wednesday evening in his home from 8:30-9:15pm. The same shiur will be given on both days. There will be no shiurim on November 16th or 23rd.

Kiddush this Shabbat is being sponsored by the shul.

Parents: you are responsible for making sure your children respect the shul and clean up after themselves.

  High School Shabbat Dinner with the Rabbi
 
 All high schoolers in our shul community are invited  to join Rabbi Helfgot and Rachel Brenner on Friday evening, December 2, 2016 for the annual Friday night dinner at their home  740 Palmer Ave. Mincha at shul is at 4:15 PM followed by dinner. Please RSVP to rbrenner917@gmail.com by Tuesday, Nov 29 if you are coming.

Dalia Shulman, Yoetzet Halakha will address this topic to unite us in learning in celebration of the Global Day of Jewish Learning. Dalia is the Community Scholar and Yoetzet at the Young Israel of White Plains and director of the Halakha & Infertility Program for YeshTikva.org and is a community member of Netivot Shalom here in Teaneck.  

The Global Day of Jewish Learning is an annual event that brings Jews of all backgrounds together through study of our shared texts.  Uniting more than 500 communities in 40+ countries, it furthers Rabbi Adin Even-Israel Steinsalz’s mission – “Let My People Know.” The 2016 theme -  Under the Same Sky: "The Earth is Full of Your Creations" – explores our world and nature. In Our Kehilla
  Family Pictures being collected for Netivot Shalom Website
In an effort to increase connectivity, especially between newer and older members, we'd like to share each other's family pictures, which helps people remember names and build community. 

Rachel Bernstein and Shanan Cohen have volunteered to collect family pictures for the shul's website, so expect that they will reach out in the next few weeks.
  Teaneck Mikvah Association's 7th Annual Women's Event 
Please join the Teaneck Mikvah Association on Monday, November 14th, 2016 at our Seventh Annual Women's Event, held at Keter Torah at 7:15 PM.  This year's "Night Out With Friends" will feature words of inspiration from Raizy Mendelsohn- Co-Director of the Chabad Jewish Center of Wyoming.  Couvert is $72.   Annual Communal Learning at Netivot Shalom

As in past years we will be learning all of Tanakh together as a kehilah as well as the second order of the Mishnah -Moed- the laws related to festivals during the course of the year to complete by Shavuot 5777. Please choose a book of Tanakh to study in depth this year and/or a section of Mishnah using this google docs sign up sheet

Need a Shabbat/Yom Tov meal? Can you host?

Invite prospective and new families for a Shabbat meal! 
As new families visit and join our shul, we would like to welcome them and help them meet shul members.
