Tomchei Shabbos Needs YOU!

Netivot Shalom participates in a community-shul rotation to volunteer at Tomchei Shabbos to pack boxes of food for families in need.  Netivot Shalom will be volunteering WednesdayFebruary  4th. Packing will take place at 6:00pm; loading cars at 7:30pm. 
We need adult, teen and accompanied children 7+.  Please email Margaret Herzog at margaretherzog79@aol.com to let her know you will be there. This is a great opportunity for families to volunteer together and for high school students who need chessed hours.

We will be going to see The Hunchback of Notre Dame on Sunday, March 8th, 2015, 1:30pm, Paper Mill Playhouse, Millburn, NJ  Price $31/ticket. Only 30 tickets available! Show recommended for ages 10 and up.

Youth
Youth Shabbaton
 
Join us for an exciting Youth Shabbos on February 6 and 7!

Friday night: There will be a Chinese dinner at the shul for grades 3-6 immediately after Maariv. It will be followed by a short program. Pickup will be at 7:30pm. 

Shabbos morning: Featuring a greater opportunity for youth participation in the shul during davening. After Kiddush there will be a deli lunch served for all children in grades K-2. Pickup will be at 1:30pm.

The cost for the above meals is $10 per child. Please RSVP with payment to Chaim Sussman by Tuesday, February 3. Checks should be made out to Netivot Shalom and mailed to Chaim at 856 Prince Street, Teaneck, NJ 07666

Shabbos afternoon: Finally, Shabbos will conclude with a light Shalosh Seudos for children in Pre-K and younger with their parents. Details to follow.

Community Tanach Study
Please take part in our shul wide learning program of all of Tanach, to culminate with a siyum on Shavuot, the holiday of the giving of the Torah.

To sign up, click the link below and chose the book you would like to read. Each book can divided up between family members and studied together or individually, In addition, once the slots are full, people can double up on books already taken. Everyone is invited to participate in this opportunity to learn Torah collectively as a community. The web address for the sign up is http://bit.ly/1sWh8Ga.
