Mazal Tov to Taavi Herzog on becoming a Bar Mitzvah. Mazal Tov to parents Uri Herzog and Tamira Sperling, and brother Natan and Uncle Barry, Aunt Margaret and the entire Herzog family.
The Round Robin dinner will take place this Motzei Shabbat. 
We look forward to a fun evening enjoying dinner with new and veteran members.

9:30 Dessert at the Brenner/Helfgot home - 740 Palmer Avenue
Asarah B'Tevet 
Asarah B'Tevet is on Sunday, January 7th. 
Fast begins at dawn at 5:53 AM.
Minyan is at 8:00 AM followed by shiur.
Mincha is at 4:20 PM at shul followed by Maariv.
Fast ends at nightfall at 5:16 PM.
Rabbi Helfgot's Weekly Shiurim on Sefer Ezra and Nehemiah
Rabbi Helfgot will be giving his weekly shiur on Sunday morning and again on Wednesday evening in his home from 8:30-9:15pm. 
Minyanim
  Shaare Tefillah and Netivot Shalom Together
 
Shaare Tefillah has graciously agreed to let their kehilla know about our 8:00am Sunday minyan. In return, we would like to encourage our members to attend their weekday Shacharit minyanim that take place every Monday and Thursday at 6:20am, and every Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday at 6:30am, and Maariv at 8:45pm. If you plan to attend and have a yahrzeit, please let Benjy Burnat know ahead of time. 
Kiddush
Kiddush is being sponsored by Uri Herzog and Tamira Sperling in honor of the Bar Mitzvah of their son Taavi. 

Parents: you are responsible for making sure your children respect the shul and clean up after themselves.

Rabbi Herzl Hefter is a graduate of Yeshiva University where he learned under the tutelage of Rav Yerucham Gorelik, z”l, and Rav Yosef Dov Soloveichik, z”l. For the next ten years, Rav Hefter continued his Torah studies at Yeshivat Har Etzion under Rav Aharon Lichtenstein. He is the Rosh Beit Midrash at Har El Yeshiva for men and women.

Rabbi Haim Jachter has been the spiritual leader of the Sephardic Congregation of Teaneck since 2000. Rabbi Jachter serves as a Dayan on the Beth Din of Elizabeth, and a gifted and popular teacher at Torah Academy of Bergen County since 1995 where he teaches Torah studies and Religious Zionism.
