Power of Attorney for the Sale of Chametz
The ideal method of selling chametz is by completing the form and delivering it in person to R. Helfgot to make a formal kinyan which allows R, Helfgot to be your agent to sell the chametz before Pesach. If you are not able to do it in person, please drop it off at his home at 740 Palmer Ave in hard copy by March 31. Emails and scans sometimes are lost in the spam folders or are buried in the hundreds of emails the rabbi receives each week.
Rabbi Helfgot will be available for Mechirat Hametz at his home 740 Palmer Ave:
Wed evening, March 25- 9:00-10;00 PM
Thursday evening, March 26-9:00-10:00 PM
Sunday evening, March 29, 9:00-10:00 PM
Monday evening, March 29 from 9:00-10:00 PM
He will be available in shul after services on Sunday morning, March 22 and Sunday morning, March 29
Please note that R. Helfgot will be leaving for Israel for a family simcha on Tuesday afternoon, March 31. Please do not mail the form but rather please come by at any of these times. After Monday evening, he will not be available and you should contact R. Aharon Ciment at Arzei Darom to sell chametz.
Kashering of Utensils
Kashering of utensils will take place on Sunday, March 29 at 6:30pm -8:30pm at Beth Aaron.
If you would like to sponsor this year's siyum, please contact Michael Rogovin.
