The Carlebach Minyan of Teaneck will join Netivot Shalom for Friday night davening this week.
Netivot Shalom Shabbat Afternoon Scholars Series

Miriam Gedwiser will be speaking on Shabbat on "Kelim Mi-Kelim Shonim: Megillat Esther and the Tabernacle" following Mincha at 5:00pm.  Miriam Gedwiser is a faculty member at the Drisha Institute. She previously practiced commercial litigation at a NYC law firm. 
Pajama Party/Movie Night
Come on Saturday night for a Pajama Party/Movie Night  Motzei Shabbos February 18 at the shul 7:00-8:30 for ages 4-8
Rabbi Helfgot's Weekly Shiurim on Sefer Ezra and Nehemiah
This week Rabbi Helfgot will be giving his weekly shiur on Sunday morning after Shacharit and on Tuesday night at 8:30pm at the Rabbi's house.

Dr. Julie Goldstein

"Portrait of a Lady: Imagining Queen Esther in Jewish Art"
Dr. Julie Goldstein is the Rosh Midrasha/Director of Amudim, a new Shana baAretz program for women designed to engage them with Jewish texts in the fullest possible way, from both traditional and academic perspectives, where no question or source is off the table and students are encouraged to think for themselves.

Dr. Goldstein's teaching experience includes three years at the undergraduate level at NYU, fifteen years at Ma’ayanot High School, three years as a JLIC scholar-in-residence at UCLA, and nearly two decades of Jewish communal and adult education lectures. Dr. Goldstein received an MA in Jewish philosophy at YU and a joint PhD in medieval history and Judaic Studies at NYU. In 2013-14, she was a Golda Meir postdoctoral fellow at The Hebrew University and a research fellow at The Global Research Institute at Tel Aviv University.

Dr. Goldstein has received a number of awards, including fellowships from Cardozo’s Center for Jewish Law and Civilization and The Memorial Foundation for Jewish Culture. She recently made aliyah and lives in Beit Shemesh with her husband, Rabbi Uri Goldstein, the former Rabbi of Ahavat Achim in Fair Lawn, and five children.

Dr. Goldstein will speak after kiddush.

Looking for a Purim costume, but don't want to waste the money on something you won’t use again? Visit our costume Gmach, all costumes are free to borrow. $5 donation requested but not required.

 The Gmach will be open at Keter Torah (600 Roemer Ave) on February 26 (11:30am-1pm) and March 5 (3pm-4:30pm).

Feel free to stop in. The gmach is in memory of Farvish Hirsch Ben Shmuel Lev.
