For our 12th season, Art as Action’s exceptional collective of dancers, poets, musicians, visual artists and aerialists will delve into the theme of both/and through Art as Action’s one of a kind collaborative framework, The Artivist Process, culminating in our annual performance, December 5 and 6 at The Dairy Center for the Arts.  both/and is an exploration of dichotomies - instead of fixating on either/or, black/white - embracing the gray of our existence and making peace with uncertainty.  

ARTIVIST PROCESS INTRODUCTION

The 2014 Artivist Process will begin with two Artivist Process Introductions and Brainstorming Sessions in April and May. These sessions will give artists a taste of what Art as Action is all about, what The Artivist Process entails as well as begin brainstorming about the show theme.
